Wesley K. Stolzenbach, 76, of Lake Village, IN formerly of Beecher, died suddenly July 8, 2017 in Crete, IL Wesley was born December 20, 1940 in Beecher, IL, the son of Earhart and Pauline (nee Mueller) Stolzenbach. He was a painter and also worked at GE and Holland Machinery. Bean bags and Poker were his favorite hobbies. Wesley was an Army Veteran. Surviving are his wife Dorothy of Lake Village, IN, sons Kevin (Katie) and Mark Stolzenbach both of Beecher, IL, daughter Vicki (Dean) Jacobson of Beecher,IL, stepsons: Jimmy Hanrahan of Chicago, IL serving in Baghdad, Iraq, Sean Hanrahan of Las Vegas, NV and Marty Hanrahan of Dallas, TX. Also surviving are eight grandchildren: Jason, Brian, Nicholas, Meghan, Eve, Drake, Jerod, and Jade; six great grandchildren: Nathan, Brandon, Marcus, Anna, Cami, and Cruze; a brother Edwin Stolzenbach of Beecher and two sisters: Alice Venditti of Chicago Heights, IL and Pearl Pollmacher of Homewood, IL. Preceding in death are his parents, 2 brothers: Wallis and Harold and two sisters: Lillian and Darlene. Visitation will be at Hack Funeral Home, 753 Hodges St., Beecher, IL on Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 3 until 8 p.m and funeral services will be on Friday, July 14, 2017 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1417 W. Church Rd, Beecher, IL at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Joel Dietrich officiating. Burial will be in Abraham Lincoln Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family for a memorial to be decided later.
