Denis Michael Gemo, of Bradley, IL, beloved husband, son, grandson, brother, and uncle, passed peacefully into eternal life on January 3, 2019 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. Denis is survived by the love of his life, wife Stephanie Gemo (nee Wood), mother Nadine Gemo (nee Loser), brother Robert Gemo, sisters Rachel Bernhardt (nee Gemo) and Anne Segert (nee Gemo), grandmother Ida Loser (nee Borgo), aunt Bonnie Hyland (nee Loser), cousins Jean-Anne Hyland and Michele Hyland, nieces and nephews Katherine, Zachary, Madeline, Shelby Lynn, Greta, Samuel, and great niece Zoey, many close friends, and his beloved pups Faith and Zelda. Denis was preceded in death by his brother Michael Gemo, father Dennis Gemo, and grandfather Geno Loser. Denis was born December 4, 1980 in Hazel Crest, IL, grew up and attended school in Beecher, IL. He studied Computer Science and IT at Robert Morris College and spent 17 years in the video game industry, managing stores in Ottawa, Bourbonnais, and Bradley since 2001. He met the love of his life, Stephanie in 2012 and they were married in 2016. He loved video gaming, restoring Apple computers, working on and showing cars at cruise nights, and eating with friends at Round the Clock. True to his loving and generous nature, he was a registered organ donor and will continue to bring hope and life to others. He will forever be missed and loved by his family and friends who knew him for the kind, loyal, and loving man he was.
