Christine C (Sohl) Radtke

Christine C. Radtke, (nee Sohl), 69, Manteno, Il passed away July 9, 2016 in Kankakee. Beloved wife of the late Donald R. Radtke Sr. for 49 years. Christine was loving mother of Sherry Calzaretta, Donald (Debra) Radtke Jr. and Kim Syverson and cherished grandmother of David James Calzaretta, Alex Syverson, and James Radtke, dear sister of Geraldine (Will) Saylor, brother Robert Sohl and brother in law Roger (Cathy) Radtke. Preceding her in death were her parents Robert and Mary Sohl (nee Mitch), brother James Sohl, and sister Maureen McGinley. Christine loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and sewing. She also enjoyed her time with the Manteno Senior Citizens playing bingo and bunco. She was a kind and wonderful woman and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be at Hack Funeral Home, 753 Hodges St., Beecher, Il on Wednesday, July 13, from 3 until 8 p.m. with a funeral immediately following at 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the family.
