David G. Moore, 63, of Beecher passed away, Saturday, July 25, 2020 at his home. He was born April 24, 1957 in Illinois, a son of Eric and Nancy (Gray) Moore. On May 22, 1987 he married Dr. Joyce MacLaren at Faith Church in Park Forest. He was Owner and Operator of Illiana Industrial Technologies Incorporated. David is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Joyce; a sister-in-law, Karen and her husband Jim; a brother-in-law, Roy and Linda; nieces and nephew, Pam (Reinhold), Jimmy (Casey), and Laura (Randy); great niece and nephews, Aniston, Mason, and Douglas; as well as many good friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jeff. David served in the United States Marines, was a former member of the Christian Church of Manteno, and was born again with Joyce at Deer Creek Christian Church. He liked hockey and was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan. David enjoyed motorcycles, swimming in his pool, and vacations, always by the beach. He loved the animals he cared for over the years, his 2 dogs and five cats. He loved gardening, lawn care, and the outdoors. He also adored entertaining and hosting parties for his family and friends. He had a strong faith in Jesus Christ. A visitation will be held Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Hack-Jensen Funeral Home from 1pm to 5pm with the funeral service immediately following the visitation at the funeral home. We ask that you please follow the state’s guidelines where masks/face coverings and distancing are concerned. On behalf of the family and the funeral home staff, we would like to thank you for your cooperation. A graveside service will be held Monday, August 3, 2020 at 11 am at Skyline Memorial Park.
