Dustin R. Johns, 23, of Beecher, died on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012. Dustin was born on August 17, 1989 in Highland Park, Illinois to Jeffery and Kathryn Johns nee Keller. He was a senior at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Dustin loved fixing everything from cars to computers, helping people, being around water and woodworking. Flying was his passion. Surviving Dustin are his parents Jeffery and Kathryn of Beecher, brothers: Jeremy and Adam both of Beecher, paternal grandparents James and Helen Johns of Brocton, Illinois and maternal grandmother Sandra Keller of Des Moines, Iowa. Also mourning Dustin are a special great aunt Betty Magers, best friends Chad Crews and Dan Amsden and other friends from college and high school too numerous to mention. Preceding Dustin in death was his grandfather Keith Keller. Visitation for Dustin R. Johns will be at Hack Funeral Home, Beecher, Illinois on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 2 until 8 p.m., with funeral services to follow officiated by Rev. Tom Ewing. Burial with graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Young America Cemetery in Hume, Illinois.
