Nancy J. Reynolds

March 29, 1953 - August 12, 2021

Nancy J. Reynolds, 68, of Steger, passed away on August 12, 2021 at Franciscan St. James Olympia Fields Hospital. She was born March 29, 1953 in Chicago Heights, IL., the daughter of the late Celedonio Garcia Hernandez Sr. and Rachel Rosemary Ellsworth Hernandez. On August 1, 1970 she married Jimmy Reynolds who passed away on April 22, 2019. She worked as a claims processor at Cigna Heathcare and managed the Beecher Dairy Lite. She enjoyed bowling, shopping, dancing, listening to music, anything involving her friends and family, and volunteering at Alicia’s House Food Pantry. Nancy is survived by her daughters; Courtney Reynolds of Steger and Wendy Reynolds of Merrillville, siblings; Diane (Jack) Zunica of Crete, Rachel Hernandez (Joe Poskin) of St Anne, Celedonio (Fran McArtor) Hernandez Jr. of Beecher, Juan (Stella) Hernandez of Beecher, and David (Vicki) Hernandez of Beecher, four grandchildren; Kyle, Stephen, Evan, and Nico, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and two children Misty Reynolds and Jimmy Reynolds Jr. Visitation will be Wednesday August 18, 2021 from 2-8pm at Hack-Jensen Funeral Home in Beecher with a eulogy at 730pm.
